You won’t find another flower quite like Black Princess.

This unique waterlily boasts goblet-shaped, deep-red blooms that turn almost black as they mature, and leaves that open dark red before turning green. The flowers span about 5 to 6 inches across and bloom prolifically all summer long.

Black Princess made her dramatic entrance to the water garden scene in 1998, supposedly as a result of a hybridizer crossing a hardy red waterlily with a tropical blue one.</
