Regulated and Prohibited Plants

Plant growth varies depending on region, climate, nutrients and growing conditions. Some plant growth can be problematic when conditions allow; therefore, each state and the federal government regulate the spread of some plants. It is the responsibility of the industry and consumers to adhere to these regulations, as well as prevent the spread of any non-native plants into natural water bodies.
